PVARC And Others Receive Citation For Service

At May's regular business meeting of the Roswell City Council the New Mexico Recreation and Parks Association recognized several entities and individuals for their service to the community. The Group Citation of the Year went to the Pecos Valley Amateur Radio Club, Chaves County Search & Rescue and the New Mexico Mounted Patrol for their service to the City of Roswell Parks & Recreation Department. Receiving the award for the PVARC was club Vice President Jim Tucker. Tucker, along with President Garry Blosser and Secretary/Treasure Cathy Walters wish to thank all the team members for giving their time and talents for the city runs and events.
