Chaves County EOC Acquires Vanity Call Sign

Chaves County's ARES Emergency Coordinator, Garry Blosser, announced Saturday that the FCC has granted call sign NM5CC to the Chaves County EOC. As opposed to each operator using his or her call sign, the newly assigned NM5CC will now be used to call or identify anyone utilizing radios at the Chaves County Emergency Operations Center.
